RC drifting has been recognized as a new class at world championship level and IFMAR will hold the first IFMAR 1/10 TH ELECTRIC DRIFT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP on April 15-19 2020.
The first WC will be held at Yatabe Arena, Tsukuba city in Japan.
The next WC will be held in countries other than Japan in 2022, under the jurisdiction of FEMCA. This new RC drift World Championship will be held every two years in countries other than Asia. The drift class consists of Rear Wheel Drive RC cars designed for drifting.
Information about qualification events and how to enter as a driver will be released via IFMAR’s four blocs.
